On Tuesday, March 7, 2017, Letters From The Fire made a stop at the Boise Knitting Factory with Adelitas Way. Prior to the show at the Knitting Factory, the band did an acoustic X-session at 100.3 The X.
The San Francisco Bay Area quintet is fronted by vocalist Alexa Kabazie. Guitarists Mike Keller and Cameron Stucky provide the riffs while bassist Clayton Wages and drummer Brian Sumwalt drive the rhythm section. Their music is heavy yet melodic, with big hooks and edgy riffs. They manage an eclectic array of sounds that are cohesive yet set LFTF a step beyond their contemporaries.
The guys and gal delivered a fun and relentlessly energetic set featuring songs from their 2016 debut album Worth The Pain including; “Perfect Life,” “Last December,” “Give in to Me,” “At War,” and the title track. The band has played Boise before, as recently as last September, and their fans were back to support them. They undoubtedly gained new followers this time around as well, which was evident from the band’s busy merch area after the show, where they gathered to sign autographs and take photos with all their fans.
LFTF have a busy spring and summer ahead of them. They will be joining Seether as direct support in May, July, and August, for the Poison The Parish Tour. They will also tour with Black Stone Cherry in June. Don’t miss them!
