The mighty Gemini Syndrome will be making a return trip to Boise later this month, and they will bring along our good friends from Texas, Messer. The amazing ladies at Vixens Reign Promotions have put together this special event at The Olympic on Tuesday, August 28th. Joining these fantastic headliners will be our own Chapter Black and AsFireFalls. Not only will this be an exciting show on its own, it’s also for a good cause as a portion of the proceeds will be set aside for a special Back to School Fundraiser.
Offers Vixens Reign partner Diane Hancock:
“We are taking a portion of the proceeds and filling backpacks for needy children. And the best part is we are purchasing and taking donated musical instruments and donating them to West ADA School District.”
Tickets for this 21 and over event are only $20 and can be purchased here: TICKETS
This month, SoCal’s Gemini Syndrome will return to the road in support of its monumental album, Memento Mori as part its Summer Conversion 2018 Absolution Tour. As the band notes:
“Brothers and Sisters of the Synner Society, The Oracle has foreseen that Gemini Syndrome will be carrying out another conversion, which will occur in alignment with the Estival solstice.”
Formed in 2010, Gemini Syndrome spent their formative days opening for bands on the Sunset Strip. As their reputation within the L.A. hard rock scene grew, so did their audience. their 2013 full-length debut Lux, which landed at #3 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart and yielded the singles “Pleasure & Pain” and “Stardust.” The record’s release saw the Los Angeles heavy alternative band tour alongside everybody from Five Finger Death Punch to Device and perform at festivals such as Rock on the Range, Welcome to Rockville, and more. After coming off the road in late 2014, Gemini Syndrome underwent member changes, while confronting and exorcising internal and external demons. However, its creative core vocalist Aaron Nordstrom, drummer Brian Steele Medina, and bass player Alessandro “AP” Paveri continue to move forward after the release of their 2016 second full-length, Memento Mori; which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, and spawned the hit single “Remember We Die” – which hit #1 on SiriusXM Octane.
This event marks the debut Treasure Valley performance for Dallas-based rockers, Messer. The quintet released its breakout debut this spring, and today they have unleashed their latest video for the track, “Save Myself”. This follows up on the success of their first single “Make This Life”, which reached #25 on the Active Rock radio charts – the only truly independent act to do so thus far in 2018. Their self-tiled album debuted at #3 on the Soundscan New Artists chart and was named “New and Noteworthy” by iTunes. With the release “Save Myself” the band is set to continue their momentum for the rest of the year into 2019.

Think of us as a syndicate. As a group of people who believe in promoting freedom of expression, thought, and creativity. We support the common interest of the human race and want to drive forward the beginning of global peace and prosperity. We bow to no one, but we will stand for everyone. Our music exposes the evil in this world, empowers the powerless, and embodies the dedication to obtain a higher collective intelligence in the next chapter of humanity. That chapter starts now. That chapter is Chapter Black.
From melodic and harmonious piano tracks to hard hitting dominant guitars, AsFireFalls is definitely a band you want to listen to and don’t want to miss live. Although the band has been around since 2011, it was re-formed in late 2013 in Boise, Idaho and quickly became a hard-hitting, energetic, unstoppable metal machine and they definitely know how to show it on stage. Original music is described by fans as Metal or Electronic/Post Hardcore.
