Southern, California’s All Hail the Yeti returns to Idaho this month for two shows to wind down their current Haunted and Damaged Tour with special guests Final Drive. The bands will burn down The Shredder in Boise on Wednesday, August 24. Local talents Ripchain and The Discarded will start the fire. On Thursday, August 25 they will hit The Falls in Idaho Falls where Montana’s At Home in Hell, as well as Sidewalk Chalk, and Thrown to the Wolves will provide local support. Tickets for both shows are only $8 in advance, $10 at the door.
All Hail the Yeti is touring in support of it acclaimed sophomore album, Screams from the Black Wilderness. The record is a concept album that follows up on the band’s break out self-titled debut from 2012. Screams from the Wilderness is based on classic, spooky horror stories and presents a different story with each track. The album was produced by Matt Hyde, known for his prior work with renowned groups such as Deftones, Slayer, and Soulfly. All Hail the Yeti channel a groove that chills and captivates. It’s their unique, whiskey-soaked metal/hardcore hybrid sound that has turned them into one of Hollywood’s most revered modern metal bands evoking the likes of Acid Bath and Pantera with a healthy dose of Mötley Crüe-style excess and infectiousness.
Hailing from Missouri, Final Drive delivers heavy and aggressive doses of Southern style groove thrash. The band’s latest album Lifeswork is 11 tracks of blistering metal, dueling bluesy, chug heavy, thrash guitars, high speed thunderous drums and furious vocal growls. Giving any listener “something they can sink their teeth into.”
