In 2014, drummer Dennis Goodman formulated the idea for Vault7 and immediately tabbed Brian “Bam Bam” Hoyt to join the ranks. Nathan Polnow joined the ranks in early 2015 as guitarist, but ultimately took over the role of frontman for the band. Vault7 has spent the last two years refining its metal-edged, hard rock sound and crafting its debut self-titled album. The recent addition of bassist Paul Blair has added even greater depth to the group’s riff heavy performances, which have allowed them to share the stage with the likes of Anthrax, Death Angel, Like a Storm, and Trapt. Vault7 was also hand-chosen from dozens of band’s last summer to be one of 5 acts to compete in the X Fest Battle of the Bands for a slot on 2016’s X Fest and they closed out the year as part of the Heavy Metal New Years Eve Bash at The Knit. This week,
Vault7 picked up a new endorsement from Coldcock American Herbal Flavored Whiskey, which Boise fans may remember from the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. Coldcock is not yet sold in Idaho, so it’s big news that they have chosen to endorse our own Vault7.
The band’s album release party, For Love or Metal, with be held at The Knitting Factory on Friday, February 10. Joining Vault7 will be their friends in Faded Leroy, Break Surface, and Mortal Enemy. Tickets are currently available from members of each of the bands performing or purchase them here for only $6:
